Pesadillas con gorila

June 12, 2010

Querido lector imaginario,

I just had the honor of making the cover for the latest album of calidoscopio a.k.a. [cldscp], which can be downloaded for free directly from this link.

[cldscp] is a prolific emerging duo from Argentina, who has produced several albums, all available *gratis* at their website. This one features charango (an instrument called the South American ukelele), bass, beat-boxing, toys and their characteristic nice melodies with witty lyrics.

This opportunity to graphically express my love for their music reminded me of Rafa Zubiría and it suddenly felt all warm inside. Music is a fine place to live in, and I love my fellow-country people.

The Trail EP has been released. The Japanese and German music label and artist platform Intervall-Audio has produced and re-mastered 6 of my songs, to download for free, under a Creative Commons License, from their website.

I want to thank Stan for all of his enthusiasm and help fixing the sound with such fine craftsmanship, and to Rafa Zubiría, the talented Spanish designer, photographer and film-maker who created the beautiful artwork for the EP.

Visit Intervall-Audio to download both the EP and the artwork, which printed looks like this:

Thank you, guys!
